With time at a premium for everyone, what grabs your attention the most — what people are standing against or what people are standing for?
You can waste time fighting matters that have little or nothing to do with you. It’s easy to get drawn in on the fight, but is it worth your time? Your energy? Your attention?
Probably not.
Wisdom tells you to choose your battles carefully. Walk past the fray, the argument the upset. You’ve got better things to do with your time.
Take a positive stance on the arenas in your life that matter — be known as the FOR person, rather than the antagonist AGAINST. There’s enough devil’s advocates ready to jump up and protest.
BE WHAT YOU ARE FOR, not what you are against.
Reminding ourselves to focus our time, attention and energy on what we are FOR leaves us energy to spare and a sense of accomplishment for time intentionally spent.
